This book is a pretty good introduction to the world of running a computer repair business. It actually contains numerous tips to help someone just starting out or someone who's still green to the industry.
The authors claim to have launched and operated several successful computer repair businesses. They tell of how the first business went, and how much they had to learn before and after opening. This book includes some of the issues they ran into and possible solutions. This provides the reader with some good ideas and warnings on things to do and to be prepared for in order to be successful without having to learn too much by trial and error.
While the book is about running a technical company, the authors make it clear early on that it's not a manual on how to resolve every issue. While they do provide some good basic ideas, they state that one of the best ways to learn troubleshooting is to perform repairs - even suggesting purchasing broken computers and repairing them to get experience.
This book has some good technical business tips for the young tech business owner. If that's you or you're thinking about becoming a repair business owner, this book can give you some good ideas, options, and advice.
